Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note 10

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite has been launched in India, and the phone, as we already know, is a toned-down version of the Galaxy Note 10 that was launched late last year. The phone comes with the company's own Exynos 9810 SoC, packs a large 4,500mAh battery, and sports triple rear cameras at the back. It sports an Infinity-O display with the cutout placed in the center and a square-shaped back camera module situated in the upper left corner. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and has the S Pen built-in with Bluetooth integration.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite packs 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Infinity-O Super AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio a pixel density of 394ppi. The phone is powered by the 2.7GHz Exynos 9810 octa-core SoC, paired with 6GB and 8GB RAM options. Internal storage is set at 128GB, and this can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 1TB).

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lite Specifications

As for the cameras, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite's triple rear camera setup has a 12-megapixel main camera with Dual Pixel autofocus, an f/1.7 lens, and OIS. It is assisted by a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture and OIS for stabilization. There is also a 32-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture to take care of selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes equipped with a 4,500mAh battery with support for the proprietary Super-Fast charging technology. The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner and comes with the S Pen stylus built-in. The stylus supports Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE standard) and offers the usual set of features such as multimedia control, clicking a picture, and Air Commands. It measures at 76.1 x 163.7 x 8.7mm and weighs at 199 grams.

S Pen:
The S Pen had arrived – and it would come to not only define a genre for Samsung but allow the brand to differentiate between the 'standard' Galaxy S range and Note line-up more effectively, meaning more revenue and products in the hands of consumers.

Actually, Samsung refused to even allow it to be named a stylus. It was the S Pen, imbued with more power than the little plastic-and-rubber sticks that were stuffed into the PDAs adorning boardrooms the world over.

Back then, it seemed like that insistence on naming it the 'S Pen' was simply Samsung trying to pompously inflate the impact of a bit of plastic.

Over the years, though, the smarts built into the S Pen have made it a real draw in its own right, and the launch of the Galaxy Note 10 cranked things up another couple of notches.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has either a Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9825 chipset, depending on the region. These are both high-end chipsets from 2018.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite doesn't impress quite so much here though, as it has an Exynos 9810. That's the chipset you'll find in the much older Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lite features

So if you’re looking for top-end processing power, the pricier device is among the best Samsung options (well, until the Samsung Galaxy S11 comes out with its expected Snapdragon 865).

There’s more RAM in the standard Note 10 too, at least in certain regions. That device has 8GB of RAM, but the Note 10 Lite has 6GB or 8GB depending on where you live in the world (although we’re not exactly sure which regions will get which version yet).

There's also more storage in the standard Samsung Galaxy Note 10, as it comes with 256GB, while the Note 10 Lite has 128GB, though the Lite model also has a microSD card slot, which the standard Note 10 doesn't.

OUR Verdicts:
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is a premium quality smartphone that comes with top-class features. The device has a huge inbuilt storage capacity so that you can save a lot of files and documents in it. The battery capacity is decent enough and it has wireless and fast charging features to make the charging convenient. However, other Chinese brands like Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo offer these features in a much lower price tag.
